We believe that the cost of healthcare should never become a reason for an individual to ignore a health concern. Our healthcare initiatives therefore focus not only on providing medical assistance, but also on reducing the financial barriers that often prevent families from accessing medicines, diagnostic services and specialist medical advice.
Through our sustained community operations, we have developed a healthcare support model that brings together medical outreach, affordable medicines, subsidised laboratory investigations and low-cost specialist consultations.
Affordable Medicines — Meaningful Savings for Families
One of the important components of our healthcare initiative is making medicines available at significantly reduced prices. Through our discounted medicine programme, beneficiaries can access medicines with savings ranging approximately from 20% to 70%, depending on the medicine and applicable category.
For families managing recurring medication requirements, even a modest reduction in medicine expenditure can make a significant difference to their monthly household budget. Our objective is therefore to create a dependable avenue through which essential medicines can be accessed at substantially more affordable prices.
Diagnostic Services at Highly Subsidised Costs
Timely diagnosis is an essential part of effective healthcare, but laboratory investigations can often become an additional financial burden. To address this challenge, JAP TAP SEWA FOUNDATION facilitates laboratory tests at highly subsidised rates, with an average saving of approximately 75% for beneficiaries.
By making diagnostic investigations more affordable, we aim to encourage people to undertake necessary tests rather than postpone them because of cost. This also supports the larger objective of early detection, informed medical advice and preventive healthcare.
Specialist Consultation at Just ₹50
Access to specialist medical advice is another area where affordability can become a barrier. Through our healthcare initiative, beneficiaries can avail themselves of speciality doctor consultations at an OPD fee of only ₹50.
This nominal consultation fee is designed to make professional medical advice accessible to a much wider section of society while maintaining the dignity and quality associated with specialist healthcare.
Community Medical Camps and Health Outreach
Our regular community medical camps and outreach programmes further extend these healthcare services directly to people. These initiatives provide opportunities for health consultations, basic screening and health awareness, including services such as blood sugar and cholesterol testing, along with essential medicines where applicable.
